Crash when tapping the version entry of the currently installed version of a system app
Android version: LineageOS 15.1 (based on AOSP 8.1)
F-Droid Classic version: 1.2-beta2 (1108)
F-Droid Classic Privileged Extension: 0.3 (3000)
(Privileged Extension not set as device owner but installed as priv-app with permissions xml file)
Reproduction Steps
- Launch F-Droid Classic
- Open the App Details screen of an installed system app
- Scroll to the bottom where the list of app versions is
- Tap the version entry for the currently installed version
Observed behavior
The app crashes.
When following the reproduction steps but choosing a normal user app F-Droid Classic tries to uninstall the app at this point.
Expected behavior
I was hoping i could download the selected version in order to re-install it in order to test something. To do this, i see no alternative as un-installing the app to get F-Droid Classic to download it again is not possible for system apps.
Another alternative might be to uninstall any updates.
But that is all i can think of besides "do nothing".
