Version list is slightly off when mutliple apks with same versioncode but different signers are available
e.g. NewPipe has 2 builds (even with exact the same VC) for the last few versions. - one binary signed by upstream (bin
) and one build from source signed by fdroid (source
).
while upgrading via the official client works flawlessly (only one build with the latest VC is recommended, although it is not the top most one), unfortunately fdroid-classic seems to recommend both builds with the latest VC and tries to install the most top one... as it is the bin
-build and if you have installed the source
-build, the upgrade does not start, but advises to uninstall & reinstall the app becausse of a different signing-key.
completing: i'm not sure about, which variant gets and should get recommended and installed (if you just hit "install") when you don't have any version installed.
